CRAN release ‘Luminescence’ v1.0.1

by RLum.Network (March 10, 2025)

We are thrilled to bring to your attention the latest release, version 1.0.1, of 'Luminescence', now available on CRAN. This is a minor maintenance release meant to address a main regression and bring increased robustness to the package.

The major changes are summarized below. You can read up a more detailed description of the release on the version 1.0.1 post on the REPLAY website.

Highlights

  • plot_RLum.Analysis(), analyse_FadingMeasurement(): a regression introduced in version 1.0.0 caused part of the plot of the luminescence curves to be garbled.

  • analyse_pIRIRSequence() checks more correctly for the size of the device plot available.

  • calc_FadingCorr() is now able to discard outlier values that would sporadically be produced during the Monte Carlo error estimation, so that it doesn’t return implausibly large error estimate.

  • sort_RLum() doesn’t crash when multiple fields are specified, although the actual sort at the moment can only occur on the first field.

All details can be seen on the 1.0.1 release page on GitHub.

Happy work with Luminescence!
