CRAN release ‘Luminescence’ v0.9.26

- just in time for the REPLAY workshop -

by RLum.Network (November 18, 2024)

We are thrilled to bring to your attention the latest release, version 0.9.26 of 'Luminescence', now available on CRAN. This is a small release that fixes a couple of regressions that were introduced in the 0.9.25 release. We don’t expect to have other releases from the 0.9.x branch, as our work is concentrated on the preparation of 1.0.0, which will bring new features and increased stability.

For details on what has changed, please see the 0.9.26 release 0.9.26 page on GitHub. The major points are here.

Highlights

  • Function get_RLum() has received some fixes to how it handled the selection of records via recordType and how it implemented the null.rm option. This was also affecting analyse_pIRIRSequence() and analyse_SAR.CWOSL().
  • Functions analyse_SAR.TL(), analyse_pIRIRSequence() and write_R2BIN() do not crash anymore in some corner cases.
  • The internal error reporting functions should not generate extremely long messages to the terminal anymore.

Happy work with Luminescence!
