CRAN release ‘Luminescence’ v1.1.2
by RLum.Network (December 12, 2025)
Another three months after our previous release, we are very proud to announce
the release of 'Luminescence' version 1.1.2. This release includes a number
of graphical and stability improvements, a few small regression fixes, and
one large performance improvements.
If you find the highlights below too dry, we have a more engaging and in-depth presentation in the post for the 1.1.2 release on the REPLAY website.
Highlights
analyse_IRSAR.RF()has received a performance boost, with improvements of at least 45% on a number of test inputs..analyse_SAR.CWOSL()doesn’t crash anymore during the plotting phase when the input is an object with decomposed signal components generated by theOSLdecompositionpackage.plot_DoseResponseCurve()fixes a regression (also affectinganalyse_SAR.CWOSL()andanalyse_pIRIRSequence()) that resulted in a mismatch between the legend symbols and the plotted regeneration/dose points. This had already been partially addressed in version 1.1.1, but there were still cases when a mismatch would occur.analyse_pIRIRSequence()has seen a number of improvements when plots are drawn on a single page, so that the plot area is better used and fewer artifacts should occur.
To see all the other gory details on what has changed, please see the 1.1.2 release page on GitHub.
A bright holiday season with Luminescence!
